  • Q What are the advantages of PEI materials?

    A The PEI material exhibits excellent dimensional stability and outstanding electrical properties.
    The low dielectric constant of PEI material ranges from 3.2 to 3.4 ( 106 Hz), with a low dielectric loss of only (3-8) * 10 -3 (106 Hz), making it suitable for applications in high-frequency electrical components.
  • Q What are the advantages of the dimensional stability of PEI materials?

    A The PEI material has a low shrinkage rate, only 0.5% - 0.7%, a low water absorption rate of 0.25%, and a low thermal expansion coefficient. It is suitable for manufacturing precise electronic components.
  • Q What is polyetherimide used for?

    A PEI materials are mainly used in the electrical and electronic fields. It  can maintain insulation and dimensional stability at high temperatures, It is suitable for  manufacture connectors and switches, circuit boards, carrier chips, and coil cores.
  • Q How do I choose between PEEK and PPS for high-temperature applications?

    A While both are high-performance plastics, PEEK offers a higher continuous service temperature (up to 250° C) and better mechanical strength. PPS is more cost-effective and provides superior chemical resistance. PRES Group provides data sheets for both to help you balance performance and budget.
  • Q Which engineering plastics are best suited for CNC machining parts?

    A For precision parts, we recommend POM (Acetal) or Nylon 6/66 due to their excellent dimensional stability and low internal stress. Our machining department can advise on the specific grade based on your tolerance requirements.

    A Yes, most of our engineering plastics and fluoroplastics are compliant with RoHS and REACH. For food-grade or medical applications, we provide specific materials that meet FDA or USP Class VI standards. Certificates are available upon request.

    A Generally, mold design and T1 sampling take 3 to 5 weeks, depending on the complexity of the part. For raw material stock, we can ship within 3-7 business days.
