PEEK material is currently one of thethe most outstanding comprehensive performance among thermoplastics. It has excellent high-temperature resistance, mechanical strength and fatigue resistance (currently, the fatigue resistance of PEEK material is at the top level). Its melting point is extremely high at 343°C, and it can operate continuously at a temperature of 260°C. Its corrosion resistance is also extremely excellent. Apart from concentrated sulfuric acid, it has very good resistance to other chemical substances.
Polyetherimide (PEI, Polyetherimide) is a non-crystalline high-performance special engineering plastic, presenting a naturally amber color transparency. Its glass transition temperature can reach up to 217℃, and it can withstand long-term temperatures of 170℃ (short-term 200–230℃).
It can keep high strength and Anti-rustility at high temperatures,much better than PC, PA, PBT, etc., while cost much lower than PEEK, making it the most cost-effective option.
Polyphenylsulfone (PPSU, Polyphenylsulfone) is a non-crystalline high-performance engineering plastic,with ultra-high toughness,naturally amber transparency with light transmittance up to 88%. Its Tg 220℃, HDT 207℃, and it can withstand long-term service temperatures of 180℃ (short-term up to 207℃).
PPSU is completely BPA-free and outstanding hydrolytic stability and repeated-sterilization capability: PPSU survives 1,000+ cycles of 134℃ high-pressure steam autoclaving,reliable resistance to acids, alkalis, alcohols, oils, hot water and steam, it is the benchmark material for reusable medical devices
Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) is a semi-crystalline high-performance engineering plastic, with exceptional heat resistance, inherent flame retardancy and outstanding chemical resistance. Its melting point reaches 280℃, continuous service temperatures of 200–240℃ (short-term up to 260℃). PPS flame retardant achieving UL94 V-0 at 0.38 mm, and offers excellent chemical resistance and extremely low water absorption (0.02%), excellent dimensional stability and outstanding electrical insulation.
