General Performance

PPS is a polymer with a white appearance, high crystallinity, hardness, and brittleness. The relative density of pure PPS is 1.3, but it increases after modification. PPS has a very low water absorption rate, usually only about 0.03%. PPS has good flame retardancy, with an oxygen index of over 44%; Compared with other plastics, it belongs to high flame retardant materials in plastics (pure PVC has an oxygen index of 47%, PSF of 30%, PA66 of 20%, MPPO of 28%, and PC of 25%).

PPS profile and cutting servics

PPS material has excellent dimensional stability and mechanical properties such as high strength, high modulus, low creep, and low stress relaxation. This enables PPS plastic to maintain good stability and reliability even under heavy loads, high stresses, or long-term loads.
Low moisture absorption: The moisture absorption rate is only 0.02%~0.05% (ASTM D570 standard), and the size change under humidity fluctuations (RH 20%~90%) is less than 0.03%
Low thermal expansion coefficient: 3-5 × 10 ⁻⁵/℃, close to metals (such as aluminum 2.3 × 10 ⁻⁵/℃), excellent compatibility in temperature changing environments (-50 ℃~220 ℃), and avoids thermal stress cracking.

High rigidity: After fiberglass reinforcement, the bending modulus reaches 12-15GPa (ISO 178), and the deformation rate under load is less than 0.1%, making it suitable for precision support structures.

Sheet metal forming
Extrusion process: Twin screw extruder (L/D=32~40) with a high temperature range of 330~350 ℃ and a pressure of 15~25MPa to ensure the uniformity of the melt;
Rolling and shaping: The three roll rolling machine (roll temperature 140~160 ℃) controls a thickness tolerance of ± 0.05mm and a surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.8 μ m.
Bar and tube materials
Continuous pultrusion: Fiber reinforced PPS rod is formed by pultrusion (traction speed of 0.5-2m/min), with axial strength greater than 200MPa;
Precision mold design: The inner wall of the pipe is polished to Ra 0.4 μ m, with a wall thickness deviation of less than ± 0.1mm (suitable for high-purity fluid transmission).
post-treatment
Annealing to relieve stress: annealing at 160 ℃ for 4 hours to release residual stress and reduce warpage by over 70%;
