PEEK 990CA30 is a commonly used high viscosity 30% carbon fiber reinforced grade, mainly for parts with thick walls, high load structure, and high fiber retention requirements.
In our project, it often appears in these scenarios:
Thick walled gears, heavy-duty ring gears (especially for large module, high torque transmissions)
Compressor piston rings, sealing rings, and support rings - these are its main applications

PEEK 990CA30 has a high molecular weight and long molecular chains, giving it high melt strength.
With 30% carbon fiber reinforcement, it offers significantly increased rigidity and dimensional stability.
It is also suitable for extruding thick‑wall PEEK tubing with a wall thickness greater than 3 mm.
This PEEK sealing ring has a wall thickness of ≥ 3 mm and is specifically designed for high-pressure working conditions. molded high viscosity PEEK 990CA30 , it has extremely high rigidity and creep resistance, and can maintain dimensional stability under long-term high pressure.
The shear rate of 990CA30 melt is relatively low, which can effectively compensate for the thick wall area during the pressure holding stage, reduce the depression (shrinkage mark) on the inner side of the sealing ring, and ensure the dimensional and positional accuracy of the finished product.
