PEI 2300 Rod Product Description
Why choose 2300 rods instead of PEI resin rods?
PEI GF30 are its high rigidity, high strength and excellent dimensional stability.
When manufacturing thin supports, gears, screws, bearings, etc., which require high strength and precise accuracy, PEI GF30 can be chosen. It does not deform under high-temperature and high-load working conditions.
The thermal expansion coefficient of pure PEI resin is relatively high, and it shows significant dimensional changes in alternating cold and hot environments. The thermal expansion coefficient of GF30 is halved, making it closer to that of metals. When you need plastic parts to closely fit with metal shafts or housings, GF30 can ensure that there are no gaps or compressive stresses at high temperatures.
