|What You Gain with ESD PEEK Sheets

Antistatic PEEK Sheets are engineered to solve critical production challenges. By choosing our sheets, you secure higher yields, lower maintenance costs, and unmatched reliability in your most demanding processes.

  • ✔️ Protect Sensitive Components: Prevent costly electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage. Our sheets dissipate static safely without relying on surface coatings that can wear off, safeguarding your microchips and assemblies.

  • ✔️ Eliminate Production Downtime: Maintain performance in extreme heat. With a 260°C continuous service temp, these sheets won't warp or degrade in high-temp environments, keeping your production line running smoothly.

  • ✔️ Achieve Precision Flatness: Ensure machining accuracy. Exceptional dimensional stability minimizes warpage during CNC milling, allowing you to produce perfectly flat parts with tight tolerances on the first try.

  • ✔️ Reduce Contamination Risks: Meet strict cleanroom standards. Low outgassing and minimal particulate generation help you maintain ISO Class cleanroom compliance, reducing scrap rates due to contamination.

| FAQs – ESD PEEK Sheets

Q1: How do I ensure ESD PEEK sheets stay flat and avoid warpage after CNC machining?
All our sheets undergo rigorous pre-shipping stress-relieving treatment to minimize internal residual stress. Combined with PEEK’s inherent thermal stability, we recommend using symmetrical milling strategies and dedicated clamping fixtures during machining. This ensures you achieve exceptional flatness post-processing, making the material ideal for high-precision fixture base plates and inspection surfaces.
Q2: Will the black ESD PEEK sheets shed carbon dust or contaminate cleanroom environments?
No. The dark color comes from fully integrated conductive carbon black or carbon fiber blended into the PEEK resin matrix—not surface coatings. It will not experience carbon sloughing or dust shedding during machining or friction. With low outgassing and minimal particulate generation, our sheets are fully compliant with ISO Class 6 and higher cleanroom standards.
Q3: Can ESD PEEK sheets be bonded, welded, or thermoformed for secondary processing?
Yes. While PEEK is a high-performance engineering plastic, it supports multiple secondary processing methods. It can be bonded with specialty adhesives, or joined via hot plate welding or laser welding. For thermoforming, we recommend processing above its glass transition temperature (Tg, 143°C). For composite parts (e.g., PEEK-to-metal bonding), our technical team can provide optimized process parameters upon request.
Q4: What are the standard sheet sizes? Do you offer cut-to-size services to reduce material waste?

Our standard stock ESD PEEK sheets come in 770*1240mm formats, with thicknesses ranging from 6mm to 120mm.

To help lower your material costs and machining time, we provide a cut-to-size service: simply share your required dimensions, and we will precision-cut sheets from master plates to minimize scrap waste.

Q5: What are the benefits of using ESD PEEK sheets instead of aluminum for jigs and fixtures?
ESD PEEK sheets offer three key advantages over aluminum: First, it is 50% lighter (density ~1.4 g/cm³ vs. aluminum’s ~2.7 g/cm³), making fixtures easier for operators to handle. Second, it is non-conductive and thermally insulating, eliminating risks of short circuits or heat transfer to sensitive components. Third, it is corrosion-resistant and rust-proof, with no oxidation issues from oils or cleaning agents—making it ideal for long-term cleanroom use.
