PEEK 990G
PRES

Unfilled PEEK sheet (also referred to as natural PEEK sheet) is extruded from 100% virgin polyetheretherketone resin, delivering the highest elongation, toughness, and fatigue resistance of all PEEK grades.
Supplied in thicknesses from 1 mm to 300 mm, these semi-crystalline thermoplastic plates are engineered for high-performance structural components, semiconductor tooling, medical devices, and chemical processing equipment operating continuously at up to 260 °C.

Why slight dimensional allowance? PEEK plate is typically supplied slightly thicker than nominal to allow for machining stock removal. Contact us for measured actual dimensions before CNC programming.
Q1: Is "unfilled PEEK sheet" the same as "unfilled PEEK plate"?
Yes. Both terms describe 100% virgin PEEK resin stock shape. "Sheet" usually refers to thinner sections (1–6 mm) while "plate" refers to thicker blocks (6 mm and above). We supply both under the same unfilled PEEK grade with thickness from 1 mm to 300 mm.
Q2: Why choose unfilled PEEK instead of glass- or carbon-filled PEEK?
Unfilled PEEK has the highest elongation, toughness, and fatigue resistance of all PEEK grades, plus maximum chemical purity and FDA compliance. Filled grades add stiffness or wear resistance but sacrifice impact toughness — choose unfilled when cyclic loading, impact, or chemical purity matter most.
Q3: What thickness range can you supply for unfilled PEEK plate?
We supply unfilled PEEK sheet and plate from 1 mm up to 300 mm thick. Thin sheets follow standard 620 × 1220 mm format; thick plates and blocks are made to order with custom dimensions and tolerances.
Q4: Do unfilled PEEK sheets need drying before machining?
Moisture absorption is very low (<0.5%), but for high-precision machining we recommend pre-drying at 150 °C for 3–4 hours to minimize internal stress and achieve best dimensional stability.
Q5: Can unfilled PEEK sheet replace metal in my application?
Often yes. With tensile strength around 90–100 MPa, continuous service at 260 °C, and excellent fatigue resistance, unfilled PEEK sheet is a proven metal replacement in semiconductor, medical, chemical, and aerospace components — at roughly 1/5 the weight of steel.
